Wie meine Leser wissen, bin ich ein großer Fan des Mind-Mappings, sowohl von Hand als auch mit dem Computer. Auf dem Computer benutze ich den MindManager und bis jetzt ist mir noch kein besseres Programm untergekommen. Nun wäre es noch schön, wenn man die MindManager-Maps irgendwo im Internet ablegen könnte zwecks Austausch mit anderen Zeitgenossen.
Vom Hersteller des MindManagers gibt es dazu zwei Angebote. Das eine heißt Mindjet Connect, das andere MindManager Web. Beide kosten rund 150 €/Jahr, wo die Unterschiede liegen hat sich mir bislang noch nicht erschlossen. Es gibt wahrscheinlich keine, denn in Connect ist Web enthalten und in Web Connect. So weit, so verwirrend. Was gibt es sonst noch?
- Biggerplate: “Biggerplate is a sharing and exchange facility for people who use MindManager visual mapping software. The site allows you to quickly and easily share maps that you have created, and also enables you to download maps created by others. Joining biggerplate is free, and all you need to make use of this site is MindManager installed on your computer, and a biggerplate username and password.”
- Mappio: “Upload your FreeMind, MindManager and JPG mind maps!”
- NovaMind Connect: Das Gegenstück zu MindJet Connect für NovaMind. Ich muss bekennen, ich kenne dieses Programm nicht.
- XMind Share: Artikel im Toolblog.

Mindjet Connect and MindManager Web are similar. Mindjet Connect allows you to share maps when using MindManager 8 (Windows) or you could create and share maps with the browser version, MindManager Web, as part of your Mindjet Connect subscription. If you do not have MindManager 8, you could subscribe to MindManager Web and share maps with others in your account. It’s confusing, I know. Our team will (hopefully) resolve this confusion soon.
